Teksto was founded by two childhood friends. Even though they come from vastly different career backgrounds, they are both passionate about different languages and cultures, and understand the importance of communicating effectively.

Lais Cattassini
Lais has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, and has worked in established newsrooms, as well as in public relations and content creation firms.
She began her career at Jornal da Tarde, in the City beat. Afterwards, she moved on to the international desk of the Estado de S. Paulo newspaper before working at G1 São Paulo and Folha de S. Paulo.
Lais has also worked at PR firms, such as Tino Comunicação, RS Press and Jeffrey Group, specializing in writing about health care. Throughout her career, she has developed content for public relations firms, custom magazines and internal communications, working primarily with international clients.
Lais has a post-graduate degree in Digital Information Management from the Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política de São Paulo (FESPSP) and a Master’s degree in Digital Media and Society from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom.
Lucila Penteado Lunardi
Lucila majored in International Relations at Trevisan Business School, and has always been passionate about different languages and cultures. She is proficient in Portuguese and English, fluent in German, and is currently learning Italian. In her travels, she has visited over 30 countries on four continents.
She has worked in a variety of industries, including investor relations, and regulation of natural gas distribution. Additionally, she has always done translation work in her spare time until transitioning to working full-time as a translator two years ago.

She has previously worked in Austria as a translator and transcreator at a software development company. In Germany, she worked at a university with community outreach and international partnerships. Furthermore, she has a Master of Science degree in Oil and Gas Enterprise Management from the University of Aberdeen, in Scotland.
